On the fourth night of Hanukkah and the winter solstice, join us for a gathering to kick off a new campaign: Hanukkah: A New Great Miracle – Lighting the Future with Solar-Energy Co-ops.

This campaign aims to support you in creating solar-energy co-ops on your blocks and in your synagogues/havurot/Jewish organizations.

Singer/songwriter Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, & Mary will bring his prophetic song to the webinar. Among other contributors will be Anya Schoolman and Roger Horowitz of Solar United Neighbors (SUN), Joelle Novey of Interfaith Power & Light (DC.MD.NoVA), artist Olivia Guterson, and Rabbis Nate DeGroot and Arthur Waskow of The Shalom Center.

This event is free and is being co-sponsored by Alabama Interfaith Power & Light, Hazon, Higher Ground Initiative, Interfaith Power & Light (DC.MD.NoVA), JCAN-MA, Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition, Jewish Earth Alliance, Lake Erie Institute, Michigan Interfaith Power & Light, Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light, Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, and The People’s Justice Council.
