This working group is dedicated to expanding parental engagement and ensuring support for youth leadership. We will provide tools and resources for families to understand and learn from in order to lead in climate organizing, the strike and related actions. A critical component of this working group is building cross-race, cross-class support for September 20th and future climate organizing, including elevating the voice of youth in frontline impact environmental justice communities and understanding the race and immigration impacts of strikes.
